Celebration Choir

The St. John's Lutheran Church Celebration Choir has had a long history of enhancing worship at the Traditional Worship Service, in the Bakersfield community, and abroad. This group of dedicated individuals have traveled to Germany to perform, regularly sing in regular and special worship services, and engage in crucial missionary work in and outside of the church.

Instrumental Music

Instrumentalists from both the congregation and Bakersfield-area regularly play music in worship. If you feel called to share your musical gift with the church, please contact Brent Williams to learn how you can participate. All ages are welcome.

What's the best part of choir?

The St. John's Lutheran Church Celebration Choir has a heart for the church and for the community. They support one another and the church in many ways. You won't find a more dedicated group of musicians.

Can I join?

The choir is open to all ages and experience levels. Although the choir sings at nearly every worship service throughout the regular season, member commitment is flexible and the atmosphere is inviting.

When and where do you meet?

The choir meets every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the church music room. The door is on the far side of campus near the St. John's Children's Center.

Who do I contact about joining?

Our choir is under the direction of Mr. Brent Williams. Use the link below to contact Brent for more information about joining or having the choir sing at an event.
