Contemporary Family Worship
Traditional (8:30 a.m.) is a traditional Lutheran worship service with time-honored liturgies, chants, and hymns of the church, as well as the finest music of our Lutheran heritage. Our Bosch organ and stained glass "I AM" window accent the Sanctuary. The message is Bible-based and relevant to your life today. Pastor is in a robe; you can dress up or come in your jeans (if you want).
Contemporary (10:00 a.m.) features a variety of musical settings led by the Worship Team. Drums and guitars, joined occasionally by a violin, play Christian Contemporary songs. Five screens provide a backdrop; theater seating gives you a good view. The message is Bible-based and relevant to your life today. Pastor is in a suit; you can dress up or come in your jeans (if you want).
St. John's is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Children 3 years old through 6th grade have a special time all their own for worshipping, learning and having fun. It was rather wet fun (at least for the teacher!) the day they learned about baptism. Children and their parents begin worship together. Children are then dismissed to Sunday School. Sunday School is offered during both the 8:30 and 10:00 services.
Parents have the opportunity to worship as a nursery is available for little ones up to 3 years old during the 8:30 and 10:00 services. Our nursery is located off the Lobby to the left of the Worship Center.
Dig deeper into scripture during an adult Bible study Sunday at 10:00 AM. Other Bible study classes are offered during the week.
