The Altar Guild is responsible for beautifying the church and preparing the altar and communion for weekend worship services.
Active during weekend services and special events, ushers help welcome people, distribute printed material, find seats for people, and various other tasks involved with the service or event.
Do you have the gift of hospitality? Have you never met a stranger? Then you'd probably be perfect for the Greeters Ministry. Help welcome guests onto our campus and direct people to different locations.
As a family, we have numerous prayer requests. Be a prayer warrior with us by participating as a prayer intercessor during one of the worship services.
Do you have an answer for every question? Maybe you should consider being a volunteer in the Information Center. Not only will you get to know the people and activities of St. John's very well, you'll get to help others find the information they need.
Those little pencils need sharpening weekly. The Chair Stuffers take care of the information in the chair backs that is used during services, and it is the perfect way to have some quiet time to yourself while helping the church in an invaluable way.
Technical Arts Ministry

Video, lights, and sound reinforcement can make or break a worship gathering. Interested in mixing and manning a sound board or lighting console or computer for the lyrics and videos for one of the weekend services? There is more and more demand and many opportunities to get involved.
We video a variety of events and activities and are always looking for people with the know-how and passion to get involved in this area.
From the regular worship services to huge events like the Boar's Head Festival, there are always opportunities to get involved in lighting at church.
Do you know your bits from your bytes? Then you might be the perfect person to get involved with the upkeep and maintenance of the church and school's computer system.
Facilities & Maintenance

We have a large campus with many jobs to be done regarding the upkeep of the grounds. The Building & Grounds team helps keep our campus beautiful through general lawn and yard work.
The Trustees meet every Monday and take care of various jobs around the church, from fixing desks to setting up the Christmas tree.
The Facility Set-Up Team helps set up for various activities, including weekend worship services.
For large events, this group helps direct traffic and greet people so everyone can get in and out of the parking lot in a smooth and timely manner.
