Advent & Christmas Eve -The CALL of CHRISTMAS
For those who know the Christmas story fairly well, there are few surprises in the tale. When you hear that the baby Jesus has been born, it doesn’t come as a big shock. Similarly, we can miss the significance of the characters in the story. God used so many different people to carry out this eternally significant event. God’s voice called through His angel to His faithful people: Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph and the shepherds.
In the weeks of Advent and into Christmas, we will creatively highlight that Call of Christmas through the perspective of some of these characters. Challenge yourself! Come with fresh eyes, ears, and hearts and enter into this ancient story with childlike anticipation.
